Tano South Municipal District be one of de six districts insyd Ahafo Region, Ghana.[1][2][3] Originally na ebe formerly part of de then-larger Tano District insyd 1988, til na dem split off de western part of de district make dem create Tano North District insyd December 2004; thus dem rename de part as Tano South District. Na dem later elevate am to municipal district assembly status insyd April 2018 make e cam turn Tano South Municipal District. De municipality dey locate insyd de eastern part of Ahafo Region wey e get Bechem as ein capital town.
Background
[edit | edit source]Insyd de district der be three health centres den one hospital. Educational facilities dey include pre-school facilities, schools den a college. De industry within de district dey focus on processing wood den agricultural products.[4]
