She serve as District Magistrate for June 1994 insyd till dem appoint as Justice give High Court for Accra den de Tema High courts for June 2002 insyd. She serve for de bench as High Court judge till 2012 wen she cam turn Justice give de Court of Appeal. Commonwealth Secretariat assign for London give Gambia as Justice of de High Court wey na she dey act as additional Justice of de Court of Appeal from December 2005 go 2009. Na she be justice of de Court of Appeal till ein nomination for de role of Supreme Court Judge for November 2019 insyd.[3] Dem swear am for office for 17 December 2019 insyd.[2]
Lovelace-Johnson san hold number of leadership positions wey dey include Director of de Public Complaints den Courts Inspectorate Unit of de Judicial Service of Ghana wey she serve as de Vice-President give de Association of Magistrates den Judges of Ghana. Na she be honorary council member of de Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana.[3]
