Dem born Collins Dauda for 13 February 1957 insyd for Mehame wey dey Asutifi South District wey dey Ahafo Region (formerly, Brong Ahafo Region) insyd Ghana.[1][3][4] Ein parents be Issaka Naaba den Mariama Issah.[5] He get ein secondary education for Mim Senior High School where he obtain both ein GCE Ordinary Level den de GCE Advanced Level between 1973 den 1981.[6]

Dauda teach for Kukuom Agricultural Senior High School from 1985.[5] Insyd 1986, he join de teaching staff for Ahafoman Senior High School wer he continue go teach till 1992.[5]

Dauda cam turn member of de Asutifi District Assembly between 1978 den 1981.[5] Na he be member of de Consultative Assembly,[5] wey draw up de 1992 Ghana constitution between 1991 den 1992. Na he be de first person dem elect go parliament for de 1992 parliamentary election for de ticket of de National Democratic Congress wey emake am de first MP for de Asutifi South constituency insyd de Fourth Republic. He win ein second term for de 1996 parliamentary election. He however loose ein seat insyd 2000 parliamentary election secof sam allegation wey say he dey use black magic kill ein political rival Prof. Gyan-Amoah just a day before de general elections.[7] He howeva regain ein seat 2004 insyd.[8] He san maintain de seat from de 4th go de 8th parliament for de 4th republic. During 2002 den 2004 as dem vote am out of parliament, dem make am de Regional Chairman of den National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Brong Ahafo Region. From February 2009 go 2016, dem appoint Collins Dauda Minister for Lands den Mineral Resources wey dem reshuffle ein position go Ministry of Water Resources, Works den Housing. Dem san make am de Vice president of de committee for Lands den Forestry between 1994 den 1996. He later cam turn chairman give de same committee between 1997 den 2000 wey he san served as member of de Finance den Youth, Sports den Culture Committees top.[9]

Dem elect Dauda for de 3rd tym as de member of parliament for de Asutifi South constituency of de Brong Ahafo Region for 2004 Ghanaian general elections insyd. He go rep de constituency for de 4th parliament for de 4th republic for Ghana. He win plus ticket of de National Democratic Congress.[8] Ein constituency be part of de 10 parliamentary seats out of 24 seats wey win by de National Democratic Congress for dat election insyd de Brong Ahafo Region.[8][10] De constituents for Asutifi South constituency vote ‘skirt den blouse’ for dat election as de presidential candidate elected by de constituency electorates vote give John Kufour wey e be major opposition New Patriotic Party.[8] De National Democratic Congress won de minority total of 94 parliamentary seats out of 230 seats.[10] Dem vote give Dauda plus 9,668 votes out of 18700 total valid votes cast, equivalent to 51.70% of total valid votes cast.[8][11] Dem vote give am over Thomas Broni of de New Patriotic Party, Nana Nsiah Ababio Williams Cosmus of de People's National Convention den Adu Adjei Augustine of de Convention People's Party. Dese obtained 46.90%, 1.20% and 0.30% respectively of total valid votes cast..[8][11]

Insyd de 2008 Ghanaian general elections, dem elected Dauda for de 4th time as de member of parliament for de Asutifi South constituency. He continued to rep de constituency for de 5th parliament of de 4th republic of Ghana. He san won on de ticket of de National Democratic Congress.[12] Ein constituency be part of de majority total of 114 parliamentary seats out of 230 seats for dat election.[10] Dem voted give Dauda plus 10,984 votes out of 22,032 total valid votes cast, equivalent to 49.85% of total valid votes cast.[12] Dem elected am over Yiadom Boakye of de New Patriotic Party den Okyere George of de Democratic People's Party. Dese obtained 49.79% den 0.35% of total valid votes cast respectively.[12] Dem san re-elect am by ein constituents for 2020 General election, to go rep dem for 8th Parliament of de Fourth Republic of Ghana.
