She get ein early education for then University Primary School (now KNUST Basic School), She continue ein basic education for Services Primary School for Takoradi den Goldfields School Complex insyd Tarkwa.[6] Amfo attend Holy Child School for ein 'O'Level education wey later she attend Archbishop Porter Girls’ Secondary School for ein A’ Level. She proceed go de University of Ghana, from 1991 to 1996, for a Bachelor's degree insyd French den Linguistics. She plete de Norwegian University of Science and Technology insyd Trondheim, Norway insyd 2001 plus an MPhil degree insyd Linguistics wey she acquire a PhD degree insyd 2007 from de same university insyd Linguistics.[7]
