Richard Gyan-Mensah[1] (dem born am 20 June 1982) be Ghanaian politician den member for de National Democratic Congress. He be member of parliament for de Gomoa West Constituency insyd de Central Region of Ghana.[2][3][4]

Dem born Gyan on 20 June 1982 wey he dey hail from Gomoa Assin Brofoyedur insyd de Central Region of Ghana. He get ein SSSCE insyd 2001 where he moo business. He get ein bachelor degree insyd accounting insyd 2007. He further get ein master degree insyd accounting den finance insyd 2017.[5][6]

Na Gyan be de General Manager for Desert Oil Limited.[5] Na he san be Mathematics den ICT Tutor for Gomoa Dominase D/A Junior High School. Na he san be part time tutor for City Business College. He san be Accountant for Trust Hands Auto Limited, de Assistant Accounts Manager for Union Oil Ghana Limited den Head of Finance den Planning for Petrosol Ghana Limited.[6]

Gyan be member of de National Democratic Congress den rydee de Member of Parliament for Gomoa West Constituency insyd de Central Region.[7][8][9]

2020 election[edit | edit source]

During de 2020 Ghanaian general election, he win de Gomoa West Constituency parliamentary seat. He san win plus 28,822 votes wey edey rep 53.0% for de total votes cast whilst de NPP parliamentary candidate Alexander Kodwo Kom Abban get 25,235 votes making 44.9% for de total votes cast, de GUM parliamentary candidate Edmond Panyin Enchill get 716 votes wey edey rep 1.3% for de total votes cast, den de PPP parliamentary candidate Charles Yawson wey get 481 votes making 0.9% for de total votes cast.[10]

Insyd April 2021, he carry drivers insyd ein constituency over 200 fuel coupons wey edey contain 10 gallons of fuel. He san support de Apam Senior High School den Gomoa Senior High School with building materials.[11]

Insyd November 2021, he carry give about 3,500 mathematical sets to final year students wey dey rep de BECE insyd ein constituency.[12]
