Juaboso District be one of de nine districts wey dey insyd de Western North Region for Ghana.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Originally ebe part of de den bollar Juaboso-Bodi District insyd August 2004, wey dem create from de former Sefwi-Bibiani District Council, until ein southeast part for de district dem split am off go create Bodi District on 28 June 2012; thus ein remaining part wey dem rename am as Juaboso District. De district assembly dey for de northwest part of Western North Region den egey Juaboso as ein capital town.
Juaboso City
[edit | edit source]Ebe about 65 kilometers north west of dema regional capital, Wiawso. Esan be 360 kilometers north west of Takoradi wey dey on de Atlantic Ocean coast den 225 kilometres south west of Kumasi, capital of de Ashanti Region.[7]
Geography
[edit | edit source]Juaboso District dey bia between latitude 6° 6'N den 7°N, den longitude 2°40'W den 3°15'W. To ein north be de Bia East, Bia West den Asunafo North Municipal Districts. Ein eastern neighbours be de Asunafo South den Bodi Districts. De Suaman District dey south den the La Cote d’lvoire dey ein west.[7]

[edit | edit source]Juaboso District get four area councils: Kofikrom-Proso, Asempaneye, Benchema-Nkatieso den Boinzan.[8]
Demographics
[edit | edit source]Dema population base for de 2010 population den housing census be 58,435. Dis be 29,742 males den 28,693 females.[7]
