Kintampo South District be one of de eleven districts insyd Bono East Region wey dey for Ghana.[1][2][3] Originally na ebe part of de den bollar Kintampo District on 10 March 1989, wey until ein southern part for de district dem split am off go create Kintampo South District on 12 November 2003 (effectively 17 February 2004); thus ein remaining part dem rename am as Kintampo North District; wey later dem elevate am to municipal district assembly status on 1 November 2007 (effecitvely 29 February 2008) for ein to become Kintampo North Municipal District. De district assembly de northern part of Bono East Region wey e get Jema as ein capital town.
