Bia National Park be national park insyd de Bia district insyd de Western Region of Ghana. Edey biosphere reserve plus a 563 square kilometer resource reserve. Edey insyd de transitional zone between moist-evergreen den moist semi-deciduous forest types.[5] Access to de park from Kumasi be thru Bibiani, Sefwi Wiawso to Sefwi Asempanaye anaa Goaso thru Sankore to Sefwi Asempanaye. From Sunyani, dem fi reach thru Berekum, Wanfi, Adabokrom den Debiso. From Côte d'Ivoire dem de park be reach thru Osei Kojokrom den Debiso.[3]

Dem create Bia insyd 1935 den name after de Bia River wey drains de area.[6] E cam turn official national park insyd 1974.[7] Intensive farming destroy much of de original vegetation insyd de park.[8] Howeva, since 1975, no human activities lyk farming anaa logging dey go on for dere.[9] Insyd 1985 de park dem name am biosphere wey dem reserve am by UNESCO world heritage site.[9]

Dem gey about 62 species of mammals (wey edey include 10 primate species wey be de Black-den-White colobus, de olive colobus, red colobus monkeys den chimpanzees) wey dem know to live insyd de park, den over 189 bird species, wey edey include de endangered white-breasted guinea fowl, Black-collared lovebird, Cassin’s hawk Eagle, Honeyguide greenbul, Black-headed oriole, Brown den Puvel’s illadopsis, Finch’s Flycatcher-Thrush, Grey-headed Negrofinch, Western nicator, Spotted greenbul, Grey-headed bristlebill, Fire-bellied woodpecker den Melancholy woodpecker).[10] De park dem san know am as de only known home give de newly discovered species of lizard, Agama africana.[11] Ghana ein major protected forest antelope communities san live insyd de park.[12] De forest elephant den de bongo wey dem claim am to be highly threatened wey you go see for dere.[3]
