She start ein primary education for de Kadjebi-Akan Local Authority Experimental Primary plus Middle School. Wey she go ein secondary school for Mawuli School wey dey Ho insyd, de town wey be de capital give Volta Region.[2]

She train as journalist for de Ghana Institute of Journalism for Accra insyd.[2] Dansua san be postgraduate student of Communication Studies for de University of Ghana wey dey Legon, wey she plet for1990 insyd.[4] She sanso get master's degree in Governance plus Leadership for de Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.[2][5]

Na Akua Dansua be Electoral Assistant give de Electoral Commission of Ghana for 1979 den 1980. For 1983 go 1987 insyd, na she be de Chief Reporter give de Nigerian Reporter newspaper.[1]

She sana work give de Weekly Spectator newspaper for Accra, Ghana as journalist, eventually she na come be de Features Editor give de paper.[2]

She hold dis position til she move enter politics insyd. She sanso serve as Technical Advisor give de National Council give Women and Development plus Media Consultant give de United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).[2]

She be de chairperson give de Advocates for Gender plus Development Initiatives-Ghana, wey be NGO for Kpando den board member give Africa in Democracy and Good Governance (ADG) for insyd The Gambia.[6]

She later rise cam turn Minister of Women and Children's Affairs, Youth and Sports den later Tourism.[1] She attribute ein success give clamping down Visa racketeering processes during ein tenure as Minister for Youth and sports.[7]

Dem elect Dansua as member of parliament give North Dayi constituency for de 2000 Ghanaian general elections.[9] Na she win de elections for de National Democratic Congress dema Ticket undy.[9]

Na ein constituency dey mong de 17 parliamentary seats comot de 19 seats insyd wey de National Democratic Congress win for de election give de Volta Region.[10][11][12] Na de National Democratic Congress win minority total of 92 parliamentary seats komot 200 seats for de 3rd parliament give de 4th republic of Ghana.[10]

Dem elect plus 23,962 votes komot 32,785 total valid votes wey dem cast. Na dis be equal to 73.8% for de total valid votes wey dem cast.[9] Dem elect am over Thomas A.K.M. Ntumy wey dey komot de Convention People's Party, Seth A. Akwensivie wey dey komot New Patriotic Party, Adolf Agbpdza wey dey komot United Ghana Movement den Augustine Yawo Adjei wey comot National Reformed Party.[9]

Dem get 6,175, 1,161, 805 den 352 votes respectively komot de total valid votes wey dem cast. Na dis be equal to 19%, 3.6%, 2.5 plus 1.1% respectively komot de total valid votes wey dem cast.[9]

She first cam turn minister of state for 2009 as na dem appoint am Minister for Women plus Children's Affairs by Presido John Evans Atta Mills.[13] She work give dat role for almost one year for February 2009 go January 2010.[1]

She later cam turn de first female Minister for Youth and Sports[14] after dem reshuffle de cabinet January 2010 den Minister for Tourism for 4 January 2011.[15] For January 2011, after sey she serve for a year as Minister give Youth and Sports, dem sana appoint am Minister for Tourism, wey she replace Zita Okaikoi.[16][17]

Dansua be member give several civic, social plus non-governmental agencies den organizations. She sana be member give de African Women Development Fund (AWDF) wey na she be chairperson give de West Africa Media Network (WAMNET).[2] She sana serve as vice-president give de Association of Women give de Media (ASWIM) Ghana. As she dey work as journalist she sanso serve as executive member give de Parliamentary Press Corps.[2]

Dansua served as member for de Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) University College Council for 2005.[2]

Dem sana give am rare opportunity so sey she go attend de 46th UN General Assembly session for New York for 1991 as ein prize.[2][6]

Dansua divorce for ein marriage plus three kiddies. She be Christian wey dey go church for Evangelical Presbyterian.[1][8] For ein leisure time she dey enjoy doing social work, listening to music, reading plus having open discussions.She san dey love love browsing the internet.[6]
