List of Ghana Parliament constituencies
Dis bi list of de 275 constituencies wey rep insyd de Parliament for de Republic of Ghana, as at December 2016 general election. [1]Dem increase am from 260 for de previous election wey dem hold am insyd December 2012 parliamentary election.[2] Each constituency dem rep am by a single member of parliament (MP). Dem bi 230 parliamentary constituencies previously.[1]

At de time Ghana become an independent country, dem gey 104 seats insyd parliament. Dem increase am to 198 after 1965 when Ghana come make one party state. At de start of de Second Republic insyd 1969, dem increase de number of seats go 140. Dis wey dem no change further until de start of de Fourth republic when dem increase am from 140 to 200. De number of seats dem increase following de December 2000 elections.[3] After de 2000 population census, de number of districts dem increase from from 110 to 138. De Electoral Commission of Ghana do demarcation exercise wey dem increase de number of constituencies from 200 to 230.[4] De total list of constituencies dem increase am from 275 prior to de 2012 Ghanaian general election.[1] Dis dem do am by de Electoral Commission of Ghana after de final results of de 2010 population census wey become available.[5][6] Following referendum insyd December 2018, de number of administrative regions dem san increase am from ten to sixteen.[7]

De Ahafo Region bi one of de two new regions wey dem carve out of de den Brong-Ahafo Region. Den Brong-Ahafo Region den split am into three regions following de December 2018 referendum.
